Japanese milk bread is a premium white bread that tastes milky, buttery, and mildly sweet. It takes excessive kneading to achieve the soft and fluffy texture. The doughs are shaped and baked in flat-top or round-top and traditionally sold as an uncut loaf.  Once baked, they end up with a satisfying, soft pull-apart consistency.
